I am part of a new local Chapter of a national non-profit organization called Holistic Moms Network. The Meetup group can be located here: http://moms.meetup.com/2685 Our Open House kickoff event is on January 29th at 6:30pm in Pacific Beach.

In case you have not heard about HMN, we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit support and discussion network for moms with an interest in natural/holistic and alternative health and parenting. At our meetings, we will be discussing many exciting holistic topics, including nutrition, vaccine awareness, green/non-toxic cleaning, and alternatives in health care.

In order to generate awareness about our organization, we are seeking holistically-minded businesses to become involved with our community. There are a number of ways to get involved:

* Become a member. If you'd like to share what you know about holistic living, and are interested in meeting and learning from other holistic parents, we invite you to join our HMN Chapter. For a tax-deductible $45 annual membership fee, you can be:

1. Part of our community of natural-minded families

2. Join HMN's very active National Yahoo Group - an online community for holistic parents across the country

3. Participate in HMN's national online discussion boards covering a broad array of holistic topics

4. Participate in HMN's local Yahoo Group, an online community for our local Chapter members

5. Receive a quarterly subscription to HMN's quarterly e-newsletter, "The Wise Mom."

* Sponsor our Chapter. For $150 a year, you can sponsor our Chapter! As a sponsor, your business will be:

1. Featured in the "Sponsor Spotlight" section of our Chapter website

2. Displayed on our Chapter's Yahoo Groups page;

3. Mentioned as a sponsor in our monthly meetings;

4. Listed as a sponsor in our Chapter newsletter.

* Join our Resource Alliance Program. Resource Alliance Members promote our HMN Chapter to interested clientele, either by word of mouth, a mention on your website, or by placing our brochures at your business location. As a Resource Alliance member, your business will be:

1. Displayed on our Chapter's Yahoo Groups home page;

2. Listed in our Chapter newsletter;

3. Published in a list that is made available to members at our monthly meetings;

4. Able to make a special discount or offer (either continuous or one-time) to our Chapter members.
