Welcome

The mission of this group is to make downtown San Diego an even better place for families to live and play. All age children and their caregivers are welcome to participate! This can be simple, such as exchanging information useful to families in the area. This can be fun, such as social gatherings at downtown parks. Some participants are taking on challenges, such as working for better schools and more kid-friendly parks. Whether your family lives and plays downtown or just plays downtown, you are welcome to join.

 

Downtown is changing with all of the new residences, parks, library, Children's Museum, and families. We believe that downtown can and will become more kid-friendly over time, and we want to facilitate that by networking with other parents. Most of this website is a "Wiki", to allow members to easily find and add information and meetups.

Pantoja Park has traditionally been a meetup spot for families on Wednesday evenings. Many months include events for a broad range of ages on a Saturday or Sunday.
